GS: The Guy Special |

413B DG Sevenoaks Stn - Chipstead
When the Westerham Branch railway closed in January 1961, disconnecting Westerham, Brasted, and Chevening stations from Dunton Green it left the area served by Chevening Halt without a good bus connection. The 413 - a rambling rural RF route - passed the station on its way to Chevening Church, but that service was geared to serve various populations of the Sevenoaks Weald, not the commuters of Chipstead, and anyway missed out the mainline stations of Dunton Green and Sevenoaks. So the 413B was instituted, to whisk said commuters to and from Sevenoaks Station in the comfort of a GS. (Brasted and Westerham had the comfort of the Greenline 705). But the season tickets eventually expired, and the replacement bus service was withdrawn towards the end of April after just three months operation.
Dunton Green supplied the GS required, receiving an extra one for the purpose.
