They served the Quill Hall Estate up to the east of Amersham, running down to the station and then the garage before striking out southwards into the countryside. They turned off the main road to Beaconsfield to serve the village of Coleshill. The 398A then turned right and squeezed througgh some very tight lanes to reach the hamley of Winchmore Hill. The 398 turned back eastwards from Coleshill, and rejoined the main road towards Beaconsfield. It joined the 373 route near Beaconsfield station, and ran through the village to terminate in the classic position between pub and church.
These routes too received RFs to replace the GSs in October 1962.
GS62 enjoyed the autumn sunshine outside the Saracen's Head at Beaconsfield on 26th October 2003, then turned to wait a moment or two by the Church before heading north.
