Arriva London low-floor DAFs Arriva was the only London bus company to stick with DAF chassis. After the Metrobus they had continued with basically the same chassis with the DBS class, with Northern Counties Palatine bodywork. The DB250 chassis was modified to a low-floor format, ready for low-floor bodies by Wright (DW), Plaxton (DLP) and Alexander (DLA). Arriva tried all three, plus some Volvo low-floors with Alexander bodies (VLA).
