Centrebus Wright Renowns 790, 791

Centrebus bought a pair of second-hand Renowns for Luton-Dunstable workings. They had originated with Brighton & Hove in early 1998, but had been sent on long-term loan to City of Oxford for use on one of their Park & Rides. For this they lost their red and cream for two-tone green. In early 2011 they were returned to BH&D, who returned them to service briefly still in green/green, but with their old numbers reinstated.

Centrebus acquired them in February 2012 via dealer McCree of Shepshed. Centrebus initially used them on the service to University of Bedford. It kept the green/green livery, and gave them back their Oxford numbers! A pair of Scanias soon took over the University contract, and they were then used on local services and schools contracts - still in green/green - until sold in May 2016.
