The Road Runner Mylleniums

In February 2010 S.M.Coaches of Harlow bought a pair of MAN 14.220s with East Lancs Myllenium bodywork. These had been new to Countywide in Hampshire in December 2003. The six-year olds were treated to the group's white bodywork with blue skirt, and were given Road Runner fleetnames for the new competitive M4 service (Harlow - Latton Bush). One of the buses seems to have had a faulty digital display, and appeared with paper route numbers or full digital displays.

They survived with Road Runner through the Harlow Bus Wars, but were sold to Ensign Bus in about February 2012.

Countryliner

They were bought by Countryliner of Guildford in July 2012, along with a similar bus from Veolia. The two Road Runner buses, minus their fleetnames, were put to work in white/blue on the 479 (Epsom - Guildford) - and other routes, until the demise of Countryliner later in 2012. They were sub-leased to Sunray Buses, still for use on the 479. Sunray repainted the skirt on LNH a darker blue. But the owners (Willowshay Ltd) repossessed them in July 2013, after which LNH became a storeshed and source of spares at Faresaver, Chippenham.
