807 HN, SV Letchworth Stn - Lannock Hill - Weston - Friends Green - Stevenage (Trinity Church) - Stevenage Industrial Area
Stevenage was a growing new town in 1956. The 807 was introduced in October 1956, linking Letchworth Station to Stevenage by a different route from the 384. It linked through Letchworth Gate to Weston, on the way joining the 383 route from Hitchin, then passed south through Friends Green into Stevenage. There it variously terminated at the industrial area or Trinity Church, depending on the time of day and day of the week.
In April 1959 Hitchin garage closed, and responsibility for the 807
- and Hitchin's allocation of GSs, moved to the new garage in Stevenage.
